All About Shayla
Hi there, I’m Shayla Tharp, an Actor and Voice-Over Artist originally from the Midwest. I earned my BFA in Theatre from California State University, Northridge, and later completed my MFA at the University of Essex in London, where I focused on Speech and Dialects.
After living and performing in London for five years, I'm now settled back in Los Angeles, where I work as a Personal Assistant to my friend Kristen Johnston as she gears up for the next season of her Netflix sitcom, Leanne. I am also a busy voice-over artist, and my voice can be heard in projects for Toyota, Google Play, Audible, and a variety of other brands.
Alongside my work as a performer and assistant, I've also expanded into Social Media. Most recently working as the Social media coordinator, Editor, and Videographer for Season 2 of Leanne on Netflix.
